Can we contribute in limiting our fossil fuel consumption? Let's Enjoy Driving While Saving Resources, That Nature Offers Us We need to conserve energy for keeping the earth green and clean. Most people take energy for granted because they are not aware of the complications that can arise when there will be a shortage of the natural resources. Awareness is important: Fossil fuels are a natural resource. We must understand that they are nonrenewable. If we do not limit our fossil fuel consumption, a time will come when there will be a shortage of this resource. People will pump the last drop of oil and the last coal chunk from the earth. After this, we won’t have any fossil fuel. This is because human beings cannot create these resources. Save Fuel: Our Action can keep our mother earth healthy !!!! Try to walk to nearby places. Make frequent use of Bi-Cycle. Frequently use Public Transport (Shuttle, Bus, Metro, Train, etc.). Use CNG fueled Vehicles. Promote Car Pool. Follow Car Free Day at least once in a week / month. Keep the roads encroachment / congestion free. Obey Traffic Rules. Keep Vehicles / Roads maintained. Follow specified lanes on road. No entry of Heavy vehicles during peak traffic hours in busy areas (School/Office Opening/ Closing Time, etc.). Pay Bills online (Water, Electricity, Phone/Mobile, DTH, Income Tax, etc.) and save on transportation cost & Time. Instead to walk-in Bank/Post Office, train ticket reservation window etc. use their online services. Benefit from Work-From-Home option if available from your office.
